Payment and facilities

Yes, toilets are available, including a disabled toilet.

In most cases, you can also pay in cash. If you want to be sure what applies on the day, just ask at the box office.

Yes, you can pay by credit card at the till in the shop and in our restaurant.

Visit and rules

Count on an average of 60 to 90 minutes, depending on how extensively you want to see and do everything.

There is limited space for personal items. Preferably do not bring too big bags.

Yes, this is allowed for private use. We do ask you to be considerate of other visitors.

No, pets are not allowed and there is no temporary shelter. Assistance dogs are of course welcome.

Eat, drink and shop

Yes, there is a shop where you can buy beautiful (cheese) products and souvenirs.

Sure. Enjoy delicious cheese dishes in our restaurant. There you can taste again what you have just learned and seen during the Experience!

Yes, you can. Just keep in mind that it can be a bit tighter at busy times.

Yes. The Experience is at ground level and suitable for wheelchair and mobility scooter users. There is also a disabled toilet.

What to expect

For all ages. Children under 4 may sometimes be less aware of the story, but often have plenty of fun.

You will step into the story of Gouda cheese and experience it with all your senses. Discovery walls, virtual milking, turning cheeses, the age-old hand clapping and, of course, a tasty conclusion with real Gouda cheese.

Gift tickets

Yes, you can do so with a gift voucher. This is without a fixed date and therefore ideal to give as a gift.

Ticket problems

Check your spam or junk mail first. Still haven't found anything? Contact us and we will send you the confirmation again.

The unique barcodes are reliable. If something does go wrong, we will find a suitable solution together.

Make sure the barcode is clearly visible on your screen or printout. If you can't, bring your confirmation email with you and we will help you at the checkout.

You may, but it is not necessary. We can also digitally scan your ticket from your phone or tablet.

Change or cancel your ticket

No, a ticket is valid during opening hours and we unfortunately cannot offer refunds in case of unforeseen circumstances.

Yes, you can. On busy days, though, buying online is smart so you can be sure to visit when you want.

No, you don't have to! Children up to and including 4 years old can come along for free.

A ticket for the Gouda Cheese Experience gives access for one person.

The price varies according to age. On the ticket page you will find all the current prices per ticket type.

You buy your entrance ticket online or at the cash desk in the shop.

We recommend booking through our own channels. If you bought through a third party and something is not right, please also contact us and we will see what is possible.

Groups, events and business
